Recent Papers Published or Recent Submissions

Some recent peer-reviewed papers in leading international journals and at important conferences are listed below. We have been anxious to push the technology, and to open up new applications paths for multiscale methods. Please request copies from fmurtagh@multiresolution.com. Many other papers are available also. These give a good idea of the breadth and depth of possibilities available with multiscale transform analysis.

  3. User Manual for MR/1 and MR/2, accessible in the mr1-mr2/doc area. MR/1 - Multiresolution Analysis Environment, and MR/2 - Multiresolution Entropy, 300pp User Manual, These are very large files, about 20MB uncompressed. They are available as Postscript and as compressed (gzipped) Postscript. File names are vol1.ps, vol2.ps, ..., vol6.ps.

  4. An Overview of Multiscale Methods, accessible in the mr1-mr2/doc area. Called doc_demo. These are large files, 19MB uncompressed. They are available as Postscript and as compressed (gzipped) Postscript.

  5. MR/1 and MR/2 User Manual Table of Contents, 9 pages, in Postscript. In PDF.

  6. "A Quick Start to Using MR/1", an HTML document with various images available for downloading. This is the place to start when installing MR/1 and MR/2.
